“God’s Backyard Bible Camp” Vacation Bible School will be held on July 22nd-26th from 9am-12pm. All children ages 3 thru six grade are invited to attend. Mifflin Avenue UMC is a drop off location in the Regent Square area for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots Program”. Please bring your new unwrapped toy to the church office entrance

Meet at the church at 6:30 PM on Friday, August 19. We will then go to the Waterfront to see the new movie The Help. A discussion of the movie will follow at Eat N Park.
Join local cycling and bike shop fixture Adam Blumenthal at the church from 12 PM to 1 PM on Sunday, August 14 for a workshop on “Demystifying the Basics of the Bike.” Afterwards, we will head to the “Little” Boston trailhead of the Yough River Trail for a family bike ride, beginning at 2 PM.
This year’s Annual Conference session for all United Methodist Churches in Western Pennsylvania will be held at Grove City College on June 9-12. This year’s theme is “Hungers of the Heart.” While only designated clergy and lay representatives from each congregation may vote on church legislation, most of the Conference activities are open to everyone.
